I have been weaving now for over 4 years. It all started with a bit of research online and a cardboard loom and has grown from there.

In February 2019 I took a short course in tapestry weaving at West Dean college in Sussex. It was wonderful.

I use the traditional tapestry techniques but apply them to a larger scale using a mix of fibres and roving on a large home-made wooden loom.

I have a passion for colour. I love blending the strands and feeling the image and mood emerge. 

I weave for pleasure, it is a slow process and it is definitely a meditation for me. Sometimes I sell these pieces - if you are interested then please take a look at my Etsy shop (link below).
